In 2008, for the first time, Epica has introduced a category for Radio Advertising and one for Promotions & Incentives. The popular Media Innovation category has also been split in two (for traditional and alternative media).

 

Turkcell Mobile Award

Epica is proud to announce the creation of the Turkcell Mobile Award as part of its 2008 European advertising awards programme.

The Turkcell prize will be awarded to the most creative use of advertising or other marketing activities using mobile phones, regardless of category. The winner could come from an Epica Direct Marketing, Media Innovation or Interactive category and could also be part of an Integrated Campaign.

A special trophy will be presented to the winner at the Epica awards ceremony in Athens on January 23rd, 2009.

Turkcell has been listed on the NYSE (“New York Stock Exchange”) and the ISE (“Istanbul Stock Exchange”) since July 2000 and is the only NYSE listed company in Turkey. 51.00% of Turkcell’s share capital is held by Turkcell Holding, 0.05% by Cukurova Group, 13.07% by Sonera Holding, 2.32% by M.V. Group and 0.08% by others while the remaining 33.48% is free float.
